endings and beginnings

The end of something often means the beginning of something. There are many types of endings. When the storyline of a movie or book has overwhelming joy, we hate to see it end. I am a happily-ever-after kind of person. I don't like sad endings. However, even when there's an end of something that causes sadness, happiness can follow.

My parents just moved from their home of 56 years. It was difficult to leave their house, church, family, and friends. However, I think the hardest part was embarking into the unknown and wondering if they can adjust to living in a new home and a new state.

Change is never easy. Most of us don't have direct-deposit of the good things in life. Positive elements come with great effort and hard work.

Endings often are sad, but beginnings bring new purpose and instill new life.
