Poems and Prayers and Promises
I grew up listening to John Denver. Back in the 70's, we had limited access to music. Sure we heard it on the radio and could buy record albums and eventually cassettes, but we weren't able to be totally immersed in lyrics and music like we are today. Somehow the music of John Denver made it into my core, and became part of my formative years. To this day, my most favorite song is Annie's Song (we'll get to that one day). It's deep and it's about love. Isn't that what we're all searching for?
