seagrass
As winter approaches, color seems to fade into a more monotone appearance. However, there is an exception, when you’re at the beach. The colors at the beach remain fairly constant throughout the seasons. The ocean reflects the sky, the sand has subtle variations, and seagrass has slight degree of change. As I look through my many pictures taken at the beach, it often is hard to tell what the season is-unless there are people in the shot. (If they’re wearing a bathing suit, you get the picture.)
I never tire of the beach.
It always elevates my mood.
If I’m feeling melancholy it lifts my spirit.
If I’m feeling anxious, it relaxes me.
In addition, the seaside landscape never fails to provoke wonder.
Wonder in the striking sight, sounds, touch and scent.
It heightens your senses and allows you to be open to thought and beauty.
Thanksgiving holiday on the beach was one of those moments that all of us will look back on with fond memories. It was a time to gather and reflect. Seagrass is kind of like a family. A constant fabric, blowing in the wind. Subtle changes occur, but weather, of all types, only makes it stronger and more beautiful.
